Welcome to the Confederation Marine Modellers club located in the Hamilton, Burlington, and Niagara regions of Ontario, Canada.

We meet on the second Tuesday of each month, September to June, at the Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology, 900 Woodward Ave, Hamilton. Meetings start at 7:30 and we are always happy to see visitors.

Whether you want to buy or build your boat, help and advice is readily available.

Club History

Our history dates back to 1963 where some local model boat builders met together to form a club and promote model boating. The club’s name came from a park in Hamilton where we first started to run the models. This park was used to run our boats for many years.

Mission Statement

We are a warm and friendly group of enthusiasts. Our aim is to promote all aspects of model boating in the Great Lakes area and to encourage more people to take up the hobby, especially the younger generation.  Our members’ models cover a wide range of styles from sailboats to warships, tugs to pleasure craft.

We attend and support many local functions with displays of our models and hold fun days throughout the summer months, to which we often attract members of other boat clubs. We also plan to visit other boat clubs shows through out the year.

Membership fees for Confederation Marine Modellers are $45 per year.
